Last week we started the New Year off with CGRA and so far so good! Now I would like to share with you some information you may find interesting, it`s called the Vital Few Law, also known as Pareto’s Principle. It’s probably one of the most interesting things from the management classes we all had (or might have had). The Pareto principle (also known as the 80–20 rule, the law of the vital few, and the principle of factor sparsity) states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. Or in our case:
20% of the trades we enter will bring 80% of gains.
KEEP READING, DON’T RUN! I am not saying that 80% of the trades are bad. I am saying that if you follow the rules I discuss in my lessons, some of the winners will carry you way further than any other winners. But most importantly it also means that the ones that don’t do well will not set you back as much as you would think.
It’s all about discipline and stop loss management.
Sounds simple Not really! It has everything to do with how well you stick to the plan and how you keep your emotions in check. The Bottom Line Is That Discipline & Consistency Will Almost Always Keep You On Top.
