1: Employee Surveillance SPO Security is able to offer a portable surveillance facility for companies concerned with the safety and security of their employees. Based on a wrist-mounted surveillance tracking device, the employees heart-rate can be monitored in real-time transmitted wirelessly to a receiver that is connected to the employer`s central monitoring system enabling surveillance staff to immediately focus on the employee and determine the source of potential stress.
Environments for such an application include casinos, banks, offices or retail stores that can enhance employee security or conversely assist in apprehending employees engaged in unlawful activities.
2: Military Personnel SPO Security is able to monitor the wellness of military personnel in a combat zone particularly those under stress that can lead to an overall deterioration of their wellness. Through placement of SPO sensors on the forehead via a helmet, vital sign information of the combatants in real-time can be relayed back to a command-and-control center to ensure that the soldier is operating at maximum efficiency and to ensure assistance is available when required.
3: Search and Rescue Workers SPO Security is able to monitor the wellness of Emergency Services personnel, such as firefighters, with the ability of monitoring their oxygen saturation levels and pulse when they enter areas of high risk, namely building which are on fire or areas with a limited oxygen supply. The wellness of the individual firefighter can be relayed electronically back to the fire truck or elsewhere where other firefighting personnel or medical staff can monitor their status.
In practical terms, the SPO sensor can be positioned on the inside rim of the firefighters helmet, or in the case of fire, in the gasmask or face-breathing apparatus. The sensor makes contact with the forehead that enables automatically reading and transmission of vital signs such as oxygen levels in the blood and the heart rate of the firefighter. This information can be transmitted at various intervals back to the monitoring station and immediate action taken by the Emergency Services.
