[1] [2] [3] After countless hours of extensive research and dedication we here at BreakingBulls.com have found the next Breaking Bull! Our next Breaking Bull is American Petro-Hunter Inc.(OTCBB:AAPH) AAPH is a goal-oriented exploration and production company aiming to become an intermediate level oil and gas producer within 12 months.
AAPH is in production at the Poston Project in Trego County Kansas and the North Oklahoma Project. With the achievable target of becoming a 1000 BOE producer as their goal AAPH is actively on the “hunt” for domestic petroleum assets.
AAPH believes alternative sources of energy wont become a significant or practical solution for years to come and that the country must support increased domestic drilling in order to capitalize upon our existing technical supremacy and the unearthing of significant and important new finds here at home.
AAPH solidly supports growth by the drill bit as the only home grown solution to produce more American oil and gas that will stabilize gasoline and energy prices. The number of projects currently available for acquisition is extensive and AAPH plans an aggressive campaign towards targeting production from smaller, underutilized fields via farm-ins and outright purchases.
AAPH`s mission is to explore, develop and produce oil and gas reserves in the continental USA thereby assisting our nation in reducing its dependence on foreign oil. “America First” and “in our back yard” are the motto`s AAPH will apply to each and every project they acquire. Any partnerships will only be with other likeminded companies also desiring to drill America out of these tough economic times by using American workers and US technologies to target, and exploit Americas vast wealth of untapped petroleum reserves.
In the short-term, AAPH will acquire quality exploration projects in targeted jurisdictions favorable for near-term production close to existing infrastructure. AAPH will aggressively search for existing production (Proved Developed Producing /PDP) from smaller, undervalued or underutilized properties that show high promise for probable undeveloped reserves (PUDs).
AAPH aims to acquire only projects with a minimum 20 drilling locations. Intermediate-term goals are focused on production through drilling multiple projects. The “basket” of projects includes a mix of higher risk and higher reward targets as well as stable, low risk targets. AAPH plans on building the company into a 500-1000 BOE producer by 2012.
Long-term goals are to take AAPH through exploration, development and production in excess of the 1000 BOE level in the aim of long term sustainability or as a possible strategic acquisition by a major producer. AAPH will strive to book value in reserves such that the net asset value of the company would warrant a senior board listing allowing funding to acquire the larger, most prolific projects both on and off shore.
Here`s a look now at AAPH`s current projects:
North Oklahoma Oil Project Field Development Location: Northern Oklahoma Analog Production: North Dakota Bakken Formation – 111 million barrels to-date. Some wells produce up to 2,000 BPD.
Land Holdings: 7 Lease blocks Interest: Varied 20-50% W.I. / 75-80% N.R.I.
Formation: Woodford Shale, Wilcox, Simpson Depth of Test: 3800 4200 feet Gross Pay Interval: 48 feet Number of Potential Drill Locations: 30 (5 horizontals, 25 vertical wells) Production Rate: No. 1 well producing 25 BDP. Cut expected higher as well de-waters Projected Initial Production Rate NOJ26: 80-200 BPD Work Program No. 1 well in production, NOJ26 spud Sept. 13, Completed mid Nov, New offset vertical before year end, Horizontal planned for early 2011 AAPH has acquired a working interest in an exciting oil play located in the northern part of Oklahoma. The Project targets regional shale formations rich in oil. Currently, AAPH is drilling shallow, vertical wells with future plans to further exploit the shale productive horizon with horizontal drilling. Individual wells at the analogous Bakken formation in North Dakota are producing over 2,000 barrels per day from staged fracture stimulation programs.
The North Oklahoma Project pursues production of high gravity light oil above 3800 feet with estimated oil production in the 150 to 550 BPD range as anticipated Initial Production Rates (“IPR”).
NOJ26 is a 4000 foot vertical well with multiple pay zones including 40 feet of shale pay plus the Mississippi formation, one of the most prolific producers in Payne County. Nearby existing analog production has produced a cumulative 80,000 barrels of oil per well with 7 years of commercial activity to date. Both zones are to be completed and in production by the end of November 2010. NOJ26 is anticipated as a 200 plus BPD producer. A horizontal well drilled laterally down and along the Woodford shale will expose over 1,500 feet of rock that upon stimulation should produce large quantities of oil. The next offset well is planned to be drilled in December. The No. 1 well returned rates in the 75-85 BPD rates on acidization, and a similar technique as deployed on NOJ26 may prove to be the most cost effective path to R.O.I with fracture stimulation at a later date possibly indicated. Engineering estimates of the potential of a successful horizontal well at the North Oklahoma Project could offer 500 BPD per well. The oil from the Woodford shale and the Mississippi Dolomite is light, high quality crude and we are developing plans for future horizontals. The southern part of our lease block has room to drill up to 5 horizontals in the shale and also up to 25 conventional vertical wells if our program successfully finds oil from previously identified formations.
Poston Oil Project Lutters #1, #3 Wells Trego County, Kansas Location: Trego County, Kansas Analog Production: Wells 1.5 miles away producing between 35 BOPD and 200 BOPD Land Holdings: 750 gross acres under lease Interest: 25% Working Interest, 20.4% NRI Formation: Mississippian Dolomite, Cherokee Sands No. of producing wells: 2 Depth of Production: 4800 feet Recoverable Reserves Estimate: 60,000 BOPW240,000 Barrels potential fully developed Gross Pay Interval: 7-10 ft.
Number of Offset Locations to Drill: 2-3 additional Production Rate: 60 BOPD Production Facilities: In place The Poston Project is located in Trego County, Kansas. The #1 Lutters well began production as a commercially viable oil well on June 18, 2009. The well produces oil in the Mississippi Dolomite. The location showed a significant 3D Seismic anomaly pinpointing the oil bearing zone. In addition, the 750 acre lease block has the potential for a multi-well program with 2 to 3 offset locations possible to fully exploit the acreage. Shipments of oil began in June2009 to the buyer N.C.R.A. (National Co-op Refinery Assoc.) of McPherson Kansas, the oil purchaser, is regularly shipping oil for sale from the Lutters lease.
In July of 2010, #3 Lutters well commenced commercial oil production. The well is the second producer at the Project. The #3 Lutters is offset to the #1 Lutters well and is part of an ongoing program designed to increase overall production from the reservoir. Oil production rates from the #1 and #3 Lutters Wells is 20 to 30 BPD range from each well. Both wells combined produce oil delivered to one tank battery and are producing between 45 and 60 barrels per day. Company engineers believe that the lease is capable of producing over 110 BPD once the wells reach stable production rates and or additional wells are drilled and added to the lease. The next offset well is planned for early March 2011. Additional wells planned for later in 2011.
Now with all that being said let`s move on to how this Bull looks chart wise:
