NewBridge Bancorp (NASDAQ:NBBC) 5.32 +0.03 (0.57%). NewBridge Bancorp ended the fourth quarter with a nearly six-fold increase in its profitability to $4 million, the Greensboro bank reported Tuesday. For the full year, NewBridge had a loss of $28.2 million compared with net income of $1.76 million.
First Busey Corporation (NASDAQ:BUSE) 4.58 +0.02 (0.44%) net income for the fourth quarter of 2012 was $4.9 million and net income available to common shareholders was $4.0 million, or $0.05 per fully-diluted common share. The Company reported net income of $5.7 million and net income available to common shareholders of $4.5 million, or $0.05 per fully-diluted common share, for the fourth quarter of 2011.
Boston Properties, Inc. (NYSE:BXP) 108.85 +0.02 (0.02%) fourth-quarter profit fell 36% as the office landlord’s expenses rose, masking higher rental revenue. Boston Properties posted a profit of $65.4 million, or 43 cents a share, down from $101.6 million, or 69 cents a share, a year earlier.
German American Bancorp., Inc.(NASDAQ:GABC) 22.41 +0.32 (1.45%) reported record earnings for the year ended on December 31, 2012. This continued level of strong financial performance in 2012 follows upon a period of exceptional performance during the past five years, as the period of 2008-2012 represents the best five years in the Company’s history in terms of reported annual earnings.
The Company also announced an increase in the level of its regular quarterly cash dividend. German American’s Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share which will be payable on February 20, 2013 to shareholders of record as of February 10, 2013.
Losers
Buckeye Technologies Inc. (NYSE:BKI) 30.79 -0.09 (-0.29%) announced that for third quarter of 2013, it expects adjusted earnings per share (EPS) will be about the same as second quarter earnings excluding the insurance benefit, before improving in the fourth quarter. This is due to the demand weakness the Company have been experiencing in several of the markets to continue into the third quarter before starting to improve.
PolyOne Corporation (NYSE:POL) 22.82 -0.19 (-0.83%) reported $679.4 million of revenues for the fourth quarter of 2012, a 6% increase compared to $640.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2011.
Silgan Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SLGN) 42.00 -0.16 (-0.38%) reported full year 2012 net income of $151.3 million, or $2.17 per diluted share, as compared to full year 2011 net income of $193.2 million, or $2.75 per diluted share.
IXYS Corporation (NASDAQ:IXYS) 9.64 -0.05 (-0.52%) announced that for the fourth quarter of 2012, it expects revenues to be relatively flat or slightly higher as compared to the revenues for the third quarter of 2012. The Company reported revenue of $63.8 million in the third quarter of 2012.
